About the event
Join us on Earth Day weekend, April 19-20, 2025, for the 3rd Annual Engaged Jain Studies Conference, an inspiring FREE, two-day online event dedicated to exploring the theme of “Compassion-in-Action.” This conference brings together scholars, educators, practitioners, and members of the Jain community to share their insights, research, and lived experiences on how we can all incorporate compassion into our everyday lives and broader social contexts.
As part of the
Compassion Studies Initiative at Arihanta Institute (CSI@AI), this year’s conference brings you engaging presentations, panel discussions, and interactive Q&A sessions through which we will explore how to inspire compassionate action in today’s world. From academic perspectives rooted in Engaged Jain Studies and Engaged Compassion Studies to community-led initiatives that exemplify compassion in practice, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how compassion can be a force for positive change.
The conference is designed to be interactive, offering opportunities for participants to engage directly with speakers through dynamic discussions and Q&A sessions. Whether you are a scholar, practitioner, or someone interested in Jain philosophy and its applications, this conference provides you with a unique platform to connect with like-minded individuals, learn from experts, and contribute your perspectives on compassion.
Join us for two days of inspiration, knowledge-sharing, and community-building as we explore the transformative power of “Compassion in Action.”
